In our care home, Isokarhu, in Tuusula we use Elma® sensors that monitor residents’ night-time movements and
quality of sleep. Elma® Detection is especially valuable for supporting the safety of those with memory disorders,
as it allows us to view residents’ rooms and real time situations. It is an extremely valuable tool for everyday care-
giving. With the help of Elma® technology, we are able to reduce night-time routine rounds, and we also notice
when someone leaves a room or if something is wrong.
